L Light of Life Trust was established in 2002 by Villy Doctor our Founder & Managing Trustee with an objective of implementing supportive and sustainable programmes for underprivileged rural communities. The prime focus is on women and children, them most vulnerable section of Indian Society.
5.5 Crore children in India need to go to School!
L Light of Life Trust works with a very effective programme to prevent school dropouts. Project Anando was started with 25 children. Today it has impacted more than 18,000 children and their families across 1498 villages. The objective of the program is to support rural underprivileged children who are probable dropouts to complete their secondary education through the 3E approach, viz., Educate, Empower and Equip for Employability. Light of Life Trust under Project Anando has an integrated school quality development programme with school authorities and teachers at the national level to ensure quality education to all.

W With the single-minded purpose of transforming the lives of the rural marginalised people and a view to achieve their holistic development to enable them eventually to join the mainstream of the society, Light of Life Trust announces its fundraiser 'Sunhere Alfaaz 2.0 - Celebrating Lyrics of the Golden Era' in Mumbai on 14th October, 2022 at Nehru Centre Auditorium in Worli, Mumbai.
The concept:
I Indian Cinema has been fortunate to have had lyricists that have penned words that make our songs both meaningful and soul touching. Be it the heart flutter of a new love or the missing of lost beloved, the ability to deal with the trials and tribulations of life, or the celebration of playfulness - different songs mean different things and different moods to us. Light of Life Trust initiated a concept musical in 2019 to celebrate lyricists that have penned some unforgettable melodies of Indian Cinema. We started in 2019 with 4 renowned lyricists - Sahir Ludhianvi, Jan Nisar Akhtar, Kaifi Azmi & Gulzar.
We continue the concept in 2022 (after a long hiatus due to the pandemic) with a tribute to the poetic genius of Majrooh Sultanpuri, Shailendra and Bharat Vyas. Poets whose lyrics gave our songs the magic to have them entrerched in the memory for posterity.
The songs will be performed by Sanjeevani Bhelande, Vaibhav Vashistha, Shirish Kamble and an acoustic band of 24 live musicians All proceeds from the show will be a contribution to charity, and the audience will also make live pledges on spot towards the cause.
The Performers:
P Playback singer Sanjeevani Bhelande is a name that represents high quality in the music field. Her first playback song 'Chori Chori Jab Nazrein' for Vidhu Vinod Chopra's film Kareeb got her global recognition. Sanjeevani is a multi-faceted artiste. Besides singing she is a trained classical thored a book, comperes her live shows and is a TV celebrity. She has an inimitable style and stage presence and has performed in over 1500 live concerts.
Vaibhav Vashishta and Shirish Kamble are also well-known names on the music circuit and are versatile performers in live shows in India and abroad.
Vaibhav has done playback for Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati films, with his performance in recently released 'Lord of Shingnapur' earning rave reviews. He is also known for his rendition of title tracks of many TV serials like Jodha Akbar, Udaan etc. He is the winner of TV reality show, 'Desh ki Awaaz' and has appeared in many other TV shows.
