Omkar Balasaheb Gite "Entrepreneurs"

Omkar Balasaheb Gite, a student from Light of Life Trust’s Anando Plus Project, Ahilyanagar, attended an Exposure Visit to Government ITI. Inspired by the experience, he chose the Electrician Trade with guidance and continuous mentoring from the Anando Plus team. The project also supported him with a free ST bus pass, ensuring that financial challenges did not stop his education.

Today, Omkar has transformed his skills into success by starting his own registered electrical contracting firm, Tirupati Electricity. Within just a few months, he is earning around ₹40,000 per month and has created employment opportunities for 5 people.

Omkar’s journey shows howcareer guidance, skill development, and timely support can empower rural youth to become confident entrepreneurs and job creators.
