You can volunteer with us round-the-year for the following roles. Your role will vary based on your area of interest, academic background, and/or level of professional experience:
Do you have a knack for creativity? If yes, then this is the right opportunity for you. Marketing volunteers would be assisting the Trust’s marketing team in creating collateral to communicate, social media activities, and other branding activities.
If you love getting to know & talking to new people, if pitching is your forte, then this is the chance you’ve just been looking for! The fundraising volunteers would be assisting the funds development team at Light of Life Trust in networking, database management & updation, outreach activities, fundraiser events, and other day-to-day operational management and implementation of all activities pertaining to fundraising.
Calling shutterbugs! The photography & videography volunteers will be visiting the programme centres of the Trust to capture the beneficiary stories. In addition to this, they will also assist the team in the said role during various events organised at the Trust during their period of volunteering.
This role will give you a platform to apply your skills if you have a flare for writing. The content writing volunteer will be helping the communications & marketing team for creating high-quality content that will be used for various communication purposes.
Over the past 15 years, Light of Life Trust has expanded its reach and started many new initiatives under its programmes. All this was made possible due to our excellent Research & Development (R&D) team. If you think you too can contribute to this field in the Trust’s focus areas, then this is the chance for you.
Under the Trust’s skilling & women empowerment programmes, the design mentors would be sharing their knowledge & skills in designing jewellery products with the beneficiaries of project Jagruti.
Anyone who is willing to contribute their talent & time to uplift the disadvantaged sections of the society, learn some skills in more than a decade old non-profit and showcase their work to a diverse network of individuals associated with the Trust, can apply to become a volunteer with us.
By volunteering with Light of Life Trust, you will not only get to work with & learn from high potential team members, but also sharpen your strengths. In addition to this, the volunteers will also get a letter of recommendation.
Most importantly, it will enhance your experience in the development sector and let you better understand some of the most challenging issues of our community.
